The Project Deep Structure Productions and Mineral Hill Productions in association with Del Ray Films are collectively seeking financing for an independent feature film titled Kringle Time .  Our principal purpose and business is to create a motion picture for limited theatrical and VOD release.      The Story Kringle Time is a social justice comedy about a public access television station manager who questions the legacy of his favorite children's show mascot when he learns that the man inside the costume had been carrying a dark and scandalous secret.  This secret is uncovered after the untimely, on-air death of the mascot performer, which causes a city-wide crisis that brings several small town characters out of the woodwork. To keep the ship afloat, the station manager must don the costume of his favorite mascot to keep the show running, which forces him to confront his own aging dreams of becoming his childhood hero.  When the ghost of the late, disgraced performer begins haunting him at the least opportune moments, the station manager must choose whether to allow this influential community figure to retain his dignity in death, or to burn his legacy to the ground and destroy a symbol that had been used to hurt people.      Why this film?  Why now? In the wake of headline-grabbing scandals like those involving Harvey Weinstein, Kevin Spacey, Louis CK and others, now is the time to have conversations about taking responsibility for the power dynamics we are involved in, and even the ones we merely witness. We want to break this conversation down on a small scale, allowing it to be accessible to regular people without alienating anyone by being overtly political or preachy. No one wants to be yelled at.  We want an audience to laugh with us as we bring up a difficult topic. Interested in seeing this film made? We would welcome your support in helping make this film.  We believe this film has a message that everyone should hear, but making a feature length film is an expensive proposition.  Your contributions can help make sure this message gets out.
